HERE IT IS! The link to the first song off the first EP being released on my and Jamie McDonald’s record label Duck Duck Goose alongside super label buddies Barely Regal and cross your heart and hope to d.i.y. The EP is by the brill-o Nottingham band Without Maps, and I think it’s BRILLIANT. You can stream the first song on the EP below. The full stream goes up on the 17th and the release date for the physical vinyl (with digital download) on the 27th. You’ll also be able to download the EP, but you want something to hold in your hands and marvel at, right? You can PRE-ORDER it over here. And if you’ve got no money now, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or sign up to the mailing list to get told about it a couple of times more. If you’re a reviewer and you want a review copy, let me know. AWESOME.

Record Label!
Introducing! Duck Duck Goose. Yes the name is silly. I don’t spend enough time being silly. And all the good record label names are taken. So, yeah, I’ve set up a record label with my mate Jamie. That might sound clever to those of you who don’t frequent the same tiny DIY pockets of emo and post-hardcore and mathy-things and punk that I do, but it’s basically just a new and exciting way to lose money, share brilliant art, and put on shows since I stopped doing Performance in the Pub. We’re going to put out our favourite bands on vinyl, mostly.
I’m REALLY excited about the first band we’re putting out (on 10″ vinyl and free download on bandcamp), as well as others we’re chatting to. A big first announcement will come out early next week, followed by a stream of a song on the 10th and then a full stream before pre-orders on the 17th. Release will be on the 27th September. MARK IT IN YOUR DIARIES. Or follow us on social media to be reminded. @2duckgoose on Twitter, and /doubleduckgoose on facebook. In fact, there’s even a mailing list.
